In the northwest area of Las Vegas, the Master Planned Community of Providence features three parks, and miles of trails designed to encourage exercise, sports, fun, and public gatherings while enjoying the breath-taking panoramic views of surrounding Spring Mountains. The newly opened Knickerbocker Park is a 15-acre park that includes play areas for 2 to 5-year-olds and 5 to 12-year-olds. Features of the park include a swing set, splash pad, youth baseball field, multi-use events field, jogging path with exercise stations and picnic areas. It also features a dog park right in the neighborhood with both small and large dog areas. Huckleberry Park, which draws inspiration for its name from the classic Mark Twain character “Huckleberry Finn,” is Providence’s third park. Huckleberry Park has large and small dog parks, a multi-use events field, full court basketball, an outdoor stage area, swings, a picnic area and shade ramada. The Promenade, which as a centerpiece of Providence, spans blocks and joins the community together.
